- In this article, we will cover the website migration process. Domain transfers are not covered in this article.
- We officially support cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, sPanel, and Enhance website control panels. If your current hosting provider is using another control panel not listed above, we will perform a best-effort migration, though our ability to do so is dependant on the tools and features of your current provider.
- Providers with a proprietary control panel that does not allow exporting your website (Such as Wix, Shopify, etc) are excluded from our free website migration service.
After you have purchased your desired hosting plan at AblePage, submit a ticket to our Migrations department where you will be prompted for the details below:
- Control Panel URL
- Control Panel Username
- Control Panel Password
As soon as we have received your migration request, a member of our migrations team will log into your account and determine the best migration path leveraging the tools and features available at your current hosting provider.
Once your migration has been completed, we will update you through your original migration request ticket with a live preview URL so you can test your website before updating any DNS records.
